Eldar Wraithknight progress 4

Cheers guys!
I'm pretty much done with this big boy! I pinned both arms and the chest/body/hips pieces to get the final pose and I'm pretty much happy with hot it turned out in the end. Just a couple of bits to gap-fill and I'm done!

The only thing I'm not 100% OK with are the hands: should I put the closed fist on the Suncannon arm and the open one on the shield arm?

Almost there!

Today I filled and cleaned all the gaps in the legs and all the various pieces of the torso armour. What a day! ...

Also I worked on the base and pinned to feet to it after filling them with Milliput. A pin was also added to reinforce the hip joint before gluing the upper legs

Hopefully tomorrow I will complete the assembly stage. And after that I'll move to some paint scheme tests :)


UPDATE: just to show you guys the little sword that come with the kit ...

It is almost as long as the new Hemlock WraithFighter hull or a Dark Edar Ravager / Raider!

Work continue on the Wraithknight: the kit is really big, many many pieces and I'm not gluing most of them for painting ease.

The torso/chest armour is amazing, a bunch of different pieces that kind of wrap around the main body!

Just a piece of advice: don't thrust the assembly instruction and test all the connection before gluing anything

Eldar Wraithguards / Wraithblades sprues - UPDATED

The new Eldar Wraithguards / Wraithblades sprues including the 3rd one currently not appearing on GW website.

UPDATE: here is a picture that show some of the differences between the 2nd and 3rd sprues. The components "type" are the same between the two but the components themselves are sculpted differently
